Members of the Traveling Symphony in Station Eleven are always on the lookout for canned goods and boxed foods to supplement their diets. Many residents of Tosa understand the harsh reality of what that desperation looks and feels like. Often a family has to make difficult decisions of what to do with limited resources: Medicine or groceries? Rent or groceries?
Tosa Cares responds to families and individuals in need with food, clothing and the assurance that our community members care for one another. Please consider taking part in our drive for Tosa Cares Food Pantry.
Wondering what to bring? The top-requested items for Tosa Cares are peanut butter, jelly, tuna, soup, cereal, canned fruits (not in heavy syrup), canned vegetables, rice, pasta, and macaroni and cheese, as well as soap (bar or pump), toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and toilet tissue.
Drop off donations at North Shore Bank, 8706 W. North Avenue, or bring them to any Tosa’s All-City Read/NEA Big Read: Tosa event.
